Since Seafood Port restaurant closed, I had a challenge to find another Chinese restaurant with an A food health inspection grade in my neighborhood. I tried their Peking duck and fried rice. It was tasty. I think I found a replacement for my old Chinese restaurant.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant in Torrance. I love so many things on their menu and so does my family. Main dishes I will call out are the ribs and their salty Hainan chicken.

Seashore Seafood Restaurant is located in a strip mall in Torrance. This is a perfect place to come with a group of people for dinner. I have and the food has always been excellent. There is a Chinese person in our group and we've always been happy with our choices. Lunch is a different thing. The quality of food is variable and service is spotty. All of the servers are Chinese and communication is usually difficult. The lunches come with soup, entree, rice, dessert and hot tea. I usually order the corn chowder, vegetables with tofu, white rice and almond pudding. The corn chowder was good, the tofu with vegetables was salty and oily, and the dessert was good. I recommend this place for dinner.

Seashore has been the Go To Chinese restaurant in the South Bay for decades. Even though the ownerships have changed, the décor has faded, and the fresh fish tank is semi empty, somehow the food taste has remain the same. The servers are professional and dishes are prepared and served pretty fast. Our favorite dishes are the pork spare ribs, seafood fried noodle and seafood tofu. Their lunch special is still worth our monthly visit, plus nothing can go wrong with its complementary spicy & sour/ egg soups and the red bean/almond jelly dessert.

Take out was made fresh, and the Peking style pork chops are the best!! So sweet and tasty. We also had eggplant in garlic sauce, string beans, Hong Kong style chow mein house special, too. About $109 total. The server taking orders over the phone was patient and kind.

Beef broccoli delicious Salt pepper squid delicious Duck was meh. Lacked flavor House special scallops good, buttery flavor Orange beef was horrible! The wrost i've ever tried. Sweet and sour fish good Ambience basic chinese place. Service hit and miss Dessert, almond jelly was refreshing, bean soup was meh.

This is our go-to chinese restaurant around RPV/Torrance/lomita area. Clean and friendly staff (well, some of them). the place can use some interior designing but then the food makes up for it. The food, pretty decent and reasonably priced. You get soup and dessert on your lunch special and I think even for dinner, unsure about that as we always come here for lunch. I do enjoy the roasted duck here. Cooked well and very flavorful. Big in portion and not cooked as oily as other chinese restaurants would do it. We did order the singapore noodles once, not ideal, other places will do better on it. We come here often, there's room to improve, however, for your basic craving needs, this will do.

I had seen this place for the last few months, across CM from where I get my haircut..So my son and I finally went last night after the movies for Fathers Day..It's small intimate, and authentic..The prices were a bit more than a few others we've gone to, but the food was very good, so the extra $4/$5.00 per item wasn't a big deal..while this won't be my go to, it'll certainly be somewhere we go from time to time.. All n all it's a 3 1/2 out of 5 stars..
